As part of the Go! Durban project, this contract comprised of approximately 66 632.62m3 of Earthworks, 14000m3 of layerworks (including stabilising and on site crushing and screening), 12000m2 of asphalt base including HiMA/ EmE, 14000m2 AE2 modified asphalt wearing course and associated storm water infrastructure. The contract also included two post tensioned pedestrian bridges, a 66m pre-stressed concrete box girder vehicular bridge and one simply supported voided bridge. Two new lines of 1km Bus Lane Retaining Walls, Traffic Barriers, and a state-of-the-art bus station.
